Myofascial syndrome at athletes

Abstract. Myofascial ssyndrome at athletes is developed at skeletic muscle and come from activity of trigger points.These points have a strict localisation in muscle mass and so the pain, that is the first symptom in myofascial syndrome is located at region of TrP. Tender nodule and taut band represent the elements that will be discovery at physical examination. Therapy of myofascial syndrome means physical methods, local anesthetic, neurotoxindrug like botulinic toxin type A and kinetic methods like muscle and conjunctive stretching, that will be also after acute phase.
