Abstract
Functional
physical therapy treatment in infantile encefalopathy seeks to restore
as much as possible the functional capacity, and also to develop some
compensatory mechanisms that will assure the possibility of self-help,
education and work, respectively an active life and economic and social
independence. The introduction of a diverse range of relaxation
tehniques in the functional physical therapy program lead to
improvement in the neuromotor development of the child with infantile
encefalopathy and reduce the difference between his biological and
chronological age.
