Abstract Preexcitation
syndrome represents for
athletes a big problem,
regards the sport activity, because there exists a risk that
tachyarrhythmia appears, atrial flutter and atrial fibrilation. The
aim of this study is to present an athlet with WPW syndrome, that had
a good and complet assesment regarding clinic and paraclinic aspects
for a precise diagnostic. After all these evaluations the physicians
decided the was an oportunity for radiofrequency ablation. After this
moment our athletes returned to play with successfull.
