Promotion (Wahington, DC) este cat se poate de reala, si nu "o
manifestare a sindromului lipsei de recunoastere" de care as suferi.
Drept urmare, chiar daca nu-si va cere scuze (pentru ca pe
cei ca
dansul si ai sai, nu-i cred capabili de asa ceva), poate va intelege
macar ca ar fi cazul sa anuleze
ghilimelele
apelativului "stimabil", cu care ma gratuleaza peiorativ.
Cat
despre recunoasterea mea de catre
altii, ii
multumesc ca se ingrijeste de ea. Din cat ma cunoasteti, sper
sa
acceptati ca nu sunt atat de naiv sa sper la mai mult decat este cazul.
Aceasta recunoastere, atata cata este, este sigur reala si, in ciuda
faptului ca nu are altitudinea pe care mi-as dori-o (as fi
mincinos, daca as spune ca nu-mi doresc asa ceva), este
suficienta incat sa-i deranjeze pe altii care cocheteaza cu impostura,
si sa-i determine sa rontaie ca niste sobolani
sarguinciosi
la ea.
Astept
sa-mi faceti si mie cunoscuta
replica
domnului profesor Epuran, si-mi cer inca odata scuze pentru faptul ca -
chiar daca fara motiv - am stat la baza unui episod neplacut
pentru dumneavoastra.

Let me be very direct in
my answer to the issue you mentioned below - You are a
founding
member of the International Institute for Health Promotion (IIHP)!! You
should also know that the "new" web site is only a first draft and that
there will be several others listed as founders (including you ) on
that site when it is finished. We are waiting for a final design to
complete the site and the one that is up now was only to show the
structure (thus only my name and Wolf's appear) at this time. If anyone
questions your involvement with the founding of the IIHP please direct
them to me and I will proudly inform them that you are,
without
question, one of the founding Member.

Dear Bob,
From the beginning
I will mention
that I have sent a similar message to Wolf too.
I address you in an atypical and somehow unpleasant problem, concerning
my involvement, activity and statute within IIHP. To better understand
this problem, I will tell you that in my presentation on a recent
Romanian sportsmedicine web-site(see my presentation here: http://www.medicinasportiva.ro/c.v/Dr%20Gheorghe%20Dumitru.html , and please note what it is written related
to IIHP),
amongst others I have mentioned the quality of "founding member" (
attention, not founder, because the founders are you and Wolf) of IIHP,
considering the fact that I started collaboration with you and Wolf
since 1993 - 1994, and that I didn't took part to the founding meeting
of IIHP in 1996 only because of a biurocratic problem ( may be you
remember that I received too late the invitation you sent to me,
because of the secretary of the university from Constanta).
Well, very
recently one person from a group which has something agains me, has
started a campaign of accusations that I have tryed to delude the
others by mentioning the respective quality in relation with IIHP.
In
fact it is
possible that you already have been contacted by one person of that
group, in this respect.
Now I have
realized that maybe the best thing would have been to previously ask
you and Wolf if I can entitle myself as a founding member or something
assimilated, and to mention this on the respective web-site, only after
(with) your agreement. But - as you know me - I hope that you believe
me that I didn't intend to attribute to me undeserved/unmerited
qualities, and that it was just because of an inadequate evaluation of
me vis-a-vis of (within) IIHP structure.
In this situation, if you
believe
that by considerring myself an founding member or something
like
this, I have prejudiced you, other persons or IIHP, I will have to
sincerely say "sorry" and to enormously regret for this inability. But
if you will believe me that all was without "criminal" intentions from
my part, may be you will send me some words in which to explain the
situation and your position.
